Without oxidization finish is like burnished red copper. When fully oxidized color will be an amber to sienna brown. I feel that my best results come with a short oxidization which gives a combination of the two with the colors being a bit darker and stronger. This glaze, if it is not ball milled (I don't have one) or burnished, gives a granular texture to the finish. |
