Raku-glazes I use

Cream with Brown

Measures by weight in percentages

  Gertsley Borate   57.83
  Nepheline Syenite   30.12
  Barium carbonate   12.05
Tin oxide 8.43
Zircopax 12.05
Manganese dioxide 5

The results wit this glaze are very dependant on thickness of application. When fairly thin, it results in an off white overall color. The thicker it is applied the more dark rose spots are formed. In the example above the glaze was applied moderately heavy inside and around the rim-note the difference in color to the rest of the rest of the outside of the piece.

This glaze has the middle temperature requirement compared to the other glazes I use.
