proposed R/C Aces logo

Doug Hooten's
Radio Control Modelling

The logo above was designed for the R/C Aces flying club in response to requests from the helicopter flyers. They wanted their their type of aircraft represented in the clubs logo.
Ironically my vote against the adoption of this new logo was the deciding vote. I felt that for each new aircraft (ie glider, old timers etc.) or flying dicipline (ie pattern, combat etc.) the logo would change and become more cluttered. The club's current logo is to the right.

Clipped Wing Cub

My wife Ruth with my almost finished 1/4 scale clipped winged Cub
The current incarnation of the EZ-200 which was my first radio controlled aircraft. Each time I crashed it I tried to make it better. It is now lighter and has a greater wingspan than the origional. EZ-200
