and traditions give students the opportunity to explore their leadership
potential, try something new, or just have some fun! The Director of Campus
Activities along with Student Senate and Club Chairs oversee student organizations.

CAMPUS CENTER
The Campus Center is the gathering place
for students, faculty, and staff outside of the classrooms, residence
halls, and offices. The building is regularly used for dances, coffeehouses,
comedians, various vendor sales, and special events. Also located in the
building is the snack bar, campus mailboxes, meeting space, student club
offices, and the Department of Athletics. It serves as natural meeting
place for members of the community to connect. |

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
The Leadership development program has
been developed as an avenue for students to learn, strengthen, and practice
general leadership skills. Students have the opportunity to attend selected
workshops, a six-week institute, a leadership conference, and numerous
in-service training opportunities designed to help individuals build the
foundation relevant to achieving success in leadership roles while at
Bradford, and beyond. Topics are addressed in a variety of formats, including
leadership styles, effective communication, group dynamics, meeting management,
budgeting and fund-raising, ethical decision-making, goal setting, motivation
and building a team, and time management. |
