Regional Outreach Program
The Alumni Office needs key people throughout the country to represent
their particular region for special events. This involves organizing the
event and building a committee to make telephone calls to increase participation.
We provide the invitations and the regional lists. You can help us plan
the activity and welcome alumni to the event.
Alumni Admission Network
Today we have an alumni admission network of 60 volunteers nationally.
This year we want to add to this number, particularly from the Midwest
to California. Volunteers are asked to telephone or write to accepted
students or, on occasion, to represent Bradford at high school college
fairs. Again, the Alumni Office will support you in this effort.
Recent Graduate Program
As an Association, we have made great strides in reconnecting our recent
graduates and maintaining their interest in the College; however, we have
recent graduates throughout the country who need a personal telephone
call or visit. Your volunteer activity in this area will strengthen our
connection with the graduates. By serving as a good-will Ambassador for
Bradford you play an important role in building the association.
Class Correspondents
Everyone loves the Class Notes. The success of this program relies
on the help of many volunteers. Alumni are sent a cards from the alumni
office . The forms are sent to correspondents by your classmates - you,
in turn, would either edit, type, or write clearly the notes and then
return to the Alumni Office. Each class is divided among two or more correspondents.
Class Agents
Our class agents play a vital role in the success of the Annual Fund
which provides important dollars to bridge the gap between the real cost
of a Bradford education and tuition income.
Agents sign solicitation letters and on
occasion make telephone calls to their classmates to increase participation
in the Annual Fund. We particularly need recent graduates, 10-years out
or less, to volunteer as both Class Correspondents and Class Agents.
CAREER NETWORK PROGRAM
Working closely with the Career and Internship Center, we are initiating
a Career Network. Activities such as skill workshops and seminars, professional
networking breakfasts, luncheons, cocktails with featured speakers, or
a social gathering showcasing successful Bradford alumni offer an exciting
agenda for this new program. We need volunteers to help us organize network
programs or to serve as resource people. The location of the gathering
could be at your place of work, possibly at your home, or at a restaurant.
