Bradford's alumni have contributed significantly to the Institution throughout its long history which indicates loyalty and dedication. Any former student in good standing is a member of the Association. As members, alumni are entitled to vote, hold office, receive publications and notices issued by the College, and participate in programs sponsored by the College and the Association. In 1997, it was voted and approved by the Alumni Association Board of Directors and the College Board of Trustees to change the Alumni Board to an Alumni Council. A major contributing factor is the change in the alumni constituency, which includes a large number of graduates who have full-time jobs, yet are interested in helping Bradford with short-term projects. The officers of the Alumni Association preside over the Council with the members of the Council chairing Bradford's volunteer committees. Two Alumni Trustees serve as liaisons to the Board of Trustees. They serve three-year terms as Alumni Trustees. The Alumni Association conducts programs through the country including
Bradford on the Move Regional Outreach,
the Alumni Admission Network, Recent
Graduate Program, Class Correspondents,
and Class Agents for the Annual Fund.
